Kevin Fuller

“I am committed to exploring with clients the most creative and effective options for settling complicated family and business disputes in ways that are less damaging and expensive than courtroom battles.”

As a veteran of hundreds of intense high-conflict negotiations and trials, Kevin Fuller knows the personal and financial costs of courtroom battles – and seeks a better way to help clients resolve their disputes more constructively.

Since starting Fuller Mediations with his wife Sharla in 2013, Kevin has leveraged his hard-won courtroom and negotiating experience to help facilitate settlements that preserve assets and spare human dignity in over 800 mediations. He is dedicated to exploring with clients the most creative and effective options for resolving complicated family and business disputes in the least damaging and most constructive way possible.

For three decades, Kevin successfully represented clients in family law litigation, collaborative law and mediation in high stakes disputes at KoonsFuller, P.C., one of the largest family law firms in the Southwest. He understands that clients today want to exercise more control over what happens to their finances, children and relationships when a marriage or a business dissolves. Acting as a mediator, Kevin has the skill, temperament and passion to help clients stay out of the courtroom and reach constructive resolutions for the parties, their families and their businesses.

Kevin is one of the most highly respected lawyers and mediators in Texas. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 1995 and has been listed as one of the Top 100 Texas Super Lawyers 12 times since 2003 (Thomson Reuters 2003-2015) featured in Texas Monthly magazine. In 2009 and 2012, Kevin was named Family Lawyer of the Year for Dallas by The Best Lawyers in America.  Each year since starting Fuller mediations in 2013, Kevin has been listed in D Magazine as one of the best mediators in Dallas and in 2022 was one of the few mediators named to D Magazine’s Hall of Fame list of Best Lawyers.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Kevin received his law degree from Baylor Law School in 1984. Kevin has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1989.  He has served as Chair of the Collaborative Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Kevin has also served on the Board of the Dallas Child & Family Guidance Center.
